After your Massage

After your massage you should be feeling very relaxed. Some experience an almost euphoric sensation. Most people experience relief from those aches and pains they came in with.

Massage helps to release endorphins, your body’s natural pain killers. Most individuals also find out they can sleep better after getting a massage.

Always drink plenty of good water after a massage. The water will help flush out toxins and reduce lactic acid buildup.

Another great thing to do for yourself after having a massage is to get a good, hot soak in the tub. Sometimes putting a cup or two of Epsom salts in your bath will further aid in pulling out any soreness. Or you may prefer to put some Lavender essential oil into your bath to aid in more relaxation. Whichever you prefer a hot soak in the tub can really put the toppings on your massage.

Enjoy!
